Want to improve your health and wellbeing? Change negative situations and patterns in your life? or maybe you would like to create more inner peace, harmony and happiness in your daily life….

A recent desire of mine is to visit a wellbeing retreat. A wellbeing retreat is usually based in rural beautiful destinations, within the UK and overseas. Good retreats are made up of therapists who offer a wide range of holistic treatments, workshops, counselling/coaching and healing modalities.

There are various retreats you can choose ranging from juice detox/ yoga retreats to depression and anxiety retreats to holistic holidays.

Typical programmes last 2-5 days and usually combine a healthy diet of whole food juices, super foods and nutritional supplements for body and mind – aiming to rebalance the bodies system. Other features of the programme incorporate life coaching, meditation, yoga, detox soups, nutrition workshops, hypnotherapy, detoxifying salt baths, holistic spa treatments and clinical therapy just to mention a few.

Whilst there are countless retreats oozing tranquility and perfect for revitalization, my favourite has to be Platinum Healing ( which you can access via Google).

You may choose to go alone, or with a few girlfriends, but either way you will be returning a new woman!
